Total Terrain is owned by sole proprietor John Grimsley. John has extensive experience in the equine community. Prior to starting Total Terrain, Inc, John spent 12 years working at Laurel Racetrack, beginning with electrical maintenance then progressing to a full range of plumbing and mechanical installation and maintenance. As a result of his success in the plant and stable area, John was promoted to Superintendent of the Racetrack. During the time in this position, John managed the maintenance of all major facilities including the grandstand and backstretch. During the years at Laurel Race Course, John gained valuable experience interacting with all aspects of the horse industry and came to respect the hard work and passion of those involved in the equine community. The result is a company dedicated to the community with an equal passion for providing enhanced facility services at the best price possible.

As a horse owner and a father of a sixteen year old daughter with a real love of horses, John knows the importance of proper facility care and maintenance as well as the costs involved. Our goal at Total Terrain, inc. is to provide the best possible job at the most affordable rates. Achieving both of these concerns results in a satisfied customer and a job well done.
